Leung Animal Clinic Ltd. is a Calgary based company founded in late 2020 and operated as Crescent Animal Clinic. The name was rebranded to Argo Vet in 2024 to better reflect our evolving identity and values. The dream of starting a locally owned private practice began in 2012 when Dr. Alan Leung first started his veterinary studies.
Why Argo Vet?
Argo Vet was inspired by the Greek mythology, Jason and the Argonauts. This is a tale where Jason and his band of heroes (The Argonauts) set sail on their ship, Argo, in search of the Golden Fleece - which is an all healing golden blanket. This story is also what inspired the gold cape in our logo.

Heroes are heroes are heroes. At Argo Vet, we believe in collaboration and cooperation between heroes for our beloved animal companions. Who are the heroes? To our pets, we, as the "pawrents" are heroes in their lives. To our clients, their pets and the veterinary team are the heroes. It is through this philosophy, that we emphasize the importance that every individual plays in a pet's life. We embrace the spirit of teamwork and recognize that collective support and synergy is essential to your pet's healthcare.

We are a group of compassionate veterinary professionals who share a love of animals. We are committed to providing quality care to every animal that enters our facility. We believe that high-quality veterinary care is achieved when everyone involved in your pet's care works together (including YOU)! We look forward to taking care of your furry friend!
Alan Leung, DVM
Veterinarian/Owner/Iggy Daddy
Dr. Alan Leung was born and raised in Calgary. He is bilingual and speaks English and Cantonese. He graduated from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Leung loves badminton and cuddling with his 3 Italian greyhounds, Theo, Patrick and David!
Superpower: Superstrength??? Can lift stuffed animals and breaks no sweat!
Louise Lam, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Louise Lam was born and raised in Ontario, Canada & Hong Kong. She graduated from Ontario Veterinary College in 2018. She loves collaborating with pet owners in the care of their pets. She is bilingual, fluent in English and Cantonese (& basic Mandarin). Dr. Lam loves to go hiking with her Samoyed (Mishka) & being movie couch potatoes with her husband.
Superpower: Ninja powers - light on her feet and can walk through rooms without people knowing

Lindsey Stobo, RVT
Vet Tech/Vet Nurse
Lindsey was born and raised in Calgary and had previously worked at the Springbank Pet Hospital and West Springs Vet Hospital for 4 years. She graduated from the Animal Health Technologist program at Olds College in 2017. She has 4 rescue dogs at home, a shepherd mix, a Staffordshire terrier, Pitbull terrier, and a Chihuahua.
Superpower: Superstrength. Can lift large breed dogs by herself!

Kieran Metcalfe
Vet Assistant/Vet Tech in Training
Kieran was born and raised in Calgary, and actually attended the same high school as Dr. Leung - Go Wildcats! She is currently studying to become a veterinary technician. She is also fear free certified! Outside of the clinic, Kieran loves skiing, pickleball, baking, and hanging out with her duck toller (Reese) and Newfoundland (Juno)
Superpower: Encyclopedia. Ask her anything... I dare ya!
Kimiko Martini
Client Care Specialist
Kimi was born and raised in Calgary and previously worked in the dog daycare industry for 10 years before migrating to the vet med world. Cats and dogs have always been in her life, and she currently shares her home with her beloved rescue dog, Sabre. She loves spending time with her family and exploring new parks and trails with Sabre.
Superpower: Artistic. She can draw any pets with uncanny likeness!

Monday: 8:30AM - 4:30PM
Tuesday: 8:00AM - 7:00PM
Wednesday: 8:00AM - 6:00PM
Thursday: 8:00AM - 6:00PM
Friday: 8:00AM - 6:00PM
Saturdays (1st and 3rd Saturday of the month): 8:00AM - 1:00PM
Statutory holidays will affect these hours.
